Reviews and Ratings
The hotel had recently updated rooms within walking distance from the city center. The beds were comfortable, but the ongoing construction work next door caused excessive heat in the room. The service was friendly and always available, although there was an unexpected entry into my room when I was in bed with my wife. The location was good for access to major roads and attractions like Phantasialand or Koln, but the proximity to the motorway resulted in noticeable traffic noise due to poorly sound-insulated windows. The dining options were basic and could have been more varied. The facilities were satisfactory.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed bag. The rooms were on the small side but had a wardrobe that could close, making it better for a long stay. However, the noise from the vacuum cleaners was quite bothersome. On the upside, the price was affordable.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The room was way too small for a family of four, making it challenging to move around, especially with stains on the sofa and a broken window. However, the room was well isolated from external noise with the window closed. The service varied from courteous and helpful to unprofessional at times, with some staff recommending a pricey but tasty steakhouse. The location was not very convenient for reaching the main town area, but it was great for accessing major roads and the airport, albeit with some traffic noise. The dining experience was fairly adequate for the low budget price level of the hotel. The facilities were standard without any standout features.
The hotel offers a great view of the Dom from some rooms, but the size may be a bit small. The service from the receptionists is friendly and helpful, although there were some inconsistencies. The location is good but noisy due to the nearby highway junction. The dining experience was pleasant, although some traditional food options were missing. Overall, a decent stay with a few minor drawbacks.
The hotel is within walking distance, with rooms that are not so big but okay for a single short business trip. The extreme heat from work being done next door was a downside, making the stay a bit uncomfortable.
The hotel rooms were ideal for a family weekend with a good shower to start Sunday morning with friends and the family, but unfortunately our breakfast view faced a noisy car wash that operated at 7 am every day. Despite this, the hotel is conveniently located within walking distance. The service was very accommodating and helpful, although there was a slight hiccup with the reservation. The location is good, especially for visiting Phantasialand or Koln, but may not be the best choice if you intend to explore the town without a car. The dining experience, although tasty, could use some improvement in terms of variety. Overall, the establishment offers a fair value for money.
